Design Consultation

All projects begin with a Design Consultation. This 2-hour meeting takes place in the space you’d like to improve — we’ll discuss functionality, style and use preferences, and scope. The result will be a multi-page Design Plan that includes a project narrative and (if applicable) a recommended floor plan.

If you love to source your own pieces and are eager to DIY, but just need a launching point, the Design Plan can be a guide for your own roadmap to move forward. If you’d like further direction, we’ll move forward with an option below.

Design with Retail Sourcing

From the recommendations in your Design Plan, we’ll select the furnishings, textiles, paint/wallpaper, and lighting for your space. We’ll provide the links for you to place orders from retail sources, and you’ll take it from there. This service is ideal for clients who may desire a lower overall investment, and are willing and able to oversee orders, installation, and project management.

Full-Service Design

With full-service design, we handle everything, from start to finish.

Once we complete the Design Consultation and deliver your Design Plan, we’ll also provide a Design Proposal that outlines the scope, time frame, and estimated investment for a full-service project.

After the proposal is approved, the process starts with a Concepting Session, where we dive deeper into not only detailed functionality, but also get to the heart of how you’d like your new space to feel. This informs every decision we make when curating custom millwork, furnishings, and textiles.

We’ll source mostly trade-only furnishings and textiles, and creating custom millwork designs when appropriate. Both functionally and aesthetically, your space will be completely unique and fully curated for your needs.

Full-Service Design is ideal for clients who want the process to be handled by us — from orders to scheduling to final installation.

Kitchen and Bath Consulting

If you're considering a kitchen or bath redesign, we’ll start with a Design Consultation — discussing layout, function, and your aesthetic preferences. We’ll then create 3-D sketches for you to review and take to the kitchen showroom of your choice as the starting point for creating construction-ready drawings and cabinetry. We’ll recommend door styles, finishes, hardware, and lighting. We’ll also meet with you at tile and counter showrooms as needed, and review samples on site to help keep your project on track.
